Let's get nothing done

okay i haven’t totally fallen off the face of the earth here. a lot has been going on and i haven’t had the energy to do most things, let alone come and dump my unholy thoughts on the internet but damn what the hell.

sweet doggy some how shattered his canine, i was checking his mouth and noticed there was 2mm stump of a tooth where a gd canine used to be

that is a beast of a tooth to shatter. obviously relative to size of a pug but yeah, pretty serious thing to have to deal with because the pulp of the tooth was totally exposed and having that get infected to turn into an abscess/root canal. not ideal. lined up getting to the vet about and hour out of town the same day i called and they were really nice to get me in next day.

i was offered to leave him overnight since i had to drop him off by 8am the next day but my dog is a prince and i cannot bear to leave him in a kennel by his lonesome in a strange place over night so i took him home with me.

fun stuff on the way back, my engine light starts blinking. the highway is single lane so i try to throw power to pass someone and car is lacking a lot of power. didn’t think too much of it. got into the city and car is shaking/idling hard at red lights. just needed to get home so the dog could eat since no food past 9pm for anaesthesia the next day. car totally non operational by the time i got home, i have no idea if i exacerbated the problem by driving more but i really needed to get home to feed lil man in time and nothing else mattered. new problems of trying to find a vehicle for 7am the next day were my focus after getting the dog fed. it was already 7pm by the time i got into the city and settled back and no car rental places open between then and 7am the next day.

a good homie came in clutch to give me a ride, and then my cousin came in clutch to lend me her car. for how callous i am sometimes, people really came to help me when i needed it the most so shout out to my loved ones.

anyways, ol pups got his surgery, extracted that nasty tooth that came out in 12+ pieces

definitely messed on drugs still, it was a bit stressful taking him home because his body temp wasn’t quite back up to normal and they said to make sure i could have ways to keep him warm or he should stay there under his heat lamp and warm blankets

also there was this hilarious chicken drumstick dick turd sign along the way

after this little adventure was over, i was back to work. this all happened with great timing when i was extremely busy at work and i have pretty much been non stop working for 2 weeks.

alls well now, car is still in limbo not starting and currently living a car free life. it’s not the worst, i feel grateful to live central enough where this isn’t a huge inconvenience and it’s also not the middle of winter.

in other news, i went for a belated bday hoe down with a good gf at house of kebab (https://lotus-gallery.com/cafe) and got down with this platter. not pictured was a salty yogurt drink called doogh which was strangely refreshing but also heavy, they seemed skeptical that i wanted to drink it but 10/10 recommend trying it. also he said unlimited rice and salad but this was already a ridiculous amount of food to eat. just look at the size of the lemon slice i got hooked up with

that’s kinda all the updates i got for now. right now i’m thinking about really tryna get my life organized and sort out a lot of the nonsense i got going around in my life. i live such a cluttered life but the amount of emotion and mental stamina it takes to deal with it makes it basically unbearable. i am trying a new thing with brain dumping everything i want into a task list and trying to sort it out to what’s most important first. it seems to be working out so far and it felt good to just spew out all that stuff and really think about the steps it will take to break down a complex task into a simple one
